Welcome to Knut Lundmarkskolan, a school unit with about 230 students in Älvsbyn's central town. The school offers fantastic learning environments, as well as proximity to the sports hall, ice rink, swimming pool, ski tracks, football pitches, athletics facility and nature. Work tasks As a teacher at Knut Lundmark School's after-school program, you are responsible for planning, implementing and following up the teaching of the after-school program's compensatory and complementary assignments. In teaching, you focus on language and knowledge-developing working methods, core values, joy of movement and democracy, but also on creating learning environments that are challenging, stimulating and attract students to curiosity and learning. At Knut Lundmarkskolan, you will have the opportunity to be involved in developing our after-school program. You will be part of the after-school program's team that meets weekly to plan, follow up and develop quality work towards increased goal achievement. During the school day, you interact with the preschool class or primary school in close collaboration with the teaching staff. At Knut Lundmarkskolan, you will have good conditions for planning, implementing and following up your teaching. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed teacher with a focus on after-school care or a licensed after-school educator who has a good insight into the after-school care steering documents. You are positive, committed, flexible and clear in your leadership. As a teacher at Knut Lundmarkskolan, you need to be responsible and able to work both independently and in a team. It is important that you can establish good relationships with both students and guardians. Experience and knowledge of working with children with special needs is an advantage.
