The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. WORK TASKS A lot of positive things are happening in Boden municipality with new large-scale business establishments in the coming years, which requires cooperation, a holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Are you a skilled analyst with a keen eye for understanding the skills needs of the labor market? Do you want to help create sustainable solutions for employers and strengthen the role of the education system in skills supply? We are now looking for a committed and strategic employee who wants to make a difference! As a Skills Coordinator, you will play a key role in analyzing the skills needs of both public and private employers in Boden. You will be responsible for developing methods to ensure that the analyses are up-to-date and relevant, using both quantitative data such as surveys and qualitative insights from, for example, business dialogues and meetings such as "business soft landing". Your work will also involve working closely with training providers and businesses to identify and address specific skills needs. Through initiatives that strengthen the link between employers and the education system, you will help to ensure that training places are filled and that students can be matched with the needs of the labour market in the long term. An important part of your role is also to guide employers on how they can use the education system as a strategic resource in their long-term strategic work on skills supply. QUALIFICATIONS The role requires a relevant academic degree in, for example, labor market or education-related fields. You should have experience working with analysis and data collection, both quantitative and qualitative methods. A good understanding of the needs of the labor market and how the education and training system can be used to meet these needs is essential, preferably with experience from similar assignments. In addition, you should have experience in project management and method development, as well as good written and oral communication skills in both Swedish and English. Personal qualities To succeed in the role, you are a skilled communicator who thrives on building relationships and creating collaborations between different stakeholders. You are solution-oriented, creative and driven to create long-term improvements that benefit both employers and education providers.
