The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. WORK TASKS As an officer with us, you work with supervision under the Environmental Code. You will mainly work with the supervision of individual sewers both in the field and in the office. Other tasks that may be relevant are, for example, supervision of environmentally hazardous activities, processing of applications, notifications and the like. The tasks will be designed based on the needs of the environment and construction unit, taking into account individual skills and interests. You will work together with the unit's regular staff and have a designated supervisor. Central to our work is meeting the public, private individuals and companies in various situations. In your role as an administrator, you may need to make demands but also provide advice and information. It is important for us that you can be clear, but at the same time have a humble approach to best convey the right message in different situations. QUALIFICATIONS You need to have completed 3 years of upper secondary school, preferably with a scientific focus. It is an advantage if you have started a post-secondary education. A prerequisite is that you are used to working with computers and have good knowledge of Swedish.
