The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view.
The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments.
Boden municipality is facing new exciting challenges with, among other things, the creation of new residential areas and business areas for both industry and trade. We at the Urban Planning Administration, the Physical Planning Unit, have an important role in achieving the municipality's vision of 33,000 inhabitants by 2030 and we are actively working to increase the attractiveness of our municipality. The Physical Planning Unit has 20 employees who are distributed in the subject areas of general planning, detailed planning, GIS/MBK analysis and land and development. The unit needs to strengthen its team with another land and development engineer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a land and development engineer, you will participate in the municipality's major development projects and will represent the municipality in collaboration with property owners, developers and other stakeholders throughout the entire community development process from idea and planning in, for example, detailed planning to implementation and ready-to-build land.
As a land and development engineer, you will work with many exciting tasks. The work involves coordinating and in some cases leading projects linked to the municipality's land holdings and the community development process.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the municipality's land supply, the purchase and sale of properties, managing leaseholds, negotiating and drawing up contracts and agreements for rights of use, rights of way, leases and land regulation. You represent the municipality in building permit opinions, land surveying matters, development agreements and land allocations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a relevant university or college education with a focus on real estate law, land environment, surveying or have equivalent qualifications that the employer considers equivalent You have knowledge of laws and regulations in the field, in particular (JB, FBL, AL and PBL).
You should have several years of experience as a MEX engineer/project manager; it would be an advantage if you have worked in a politically controlled organization. You have extensive experience of property law issues, land leases, property sales and / or property acquisitions, good negotiation skills, preparation of various agreements in the development process and experience of working with development projects from start / planning stage to implementation
You are structured and meticulous, result-oriented and have good networking skills. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. You should be a team player, but also have the ability to work independently and be results-oriented. As a member of the Physical Planning Unit, you should appreciate a fast-paced environment and be able to keep many balls in the air. We are a very positive and creative team with a focus on collaboration and where your experience is an important complement.
