The rescue service in Boden is looking for a driven Fire Inspector / Fire Engineer - Operational Specialist who wants to help shape our business in a time of exciting social change. Our mission is not only to save lives and property, but to actively work preventively to minimize risks and create security for the future. Do you want to be part of this important work? We are a strong team working with 19 municipalities, from Kiruna in the north to Nordmaling in the south, to create safe and effective rescue operations wherever the accident occurs. Our focus is to act quickly and efficiently to minimize damage and save lives. We are now looking for you to join our team and lead us into the future. JOB DESCRIPTION As an Operational Specialist with us, you will have a dynamic and important role where you will be the spider in the web of our rescue operations. You will drive the operational development to make the rescue service in Boden better. Your role includes both business intelligence and quality assurance of operations and exercises. And yes, it gets more exciting, you will also be part of the response leader preparedness that will be built up, which means that during your preparedness shifts you are ready to lead operations in our area. In addition, there will be opportunities for you to take an overall leadership role in our joint rescue management system in the future. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a fire engineer degree with additional training in rescue services (RUB) or equivalent experience as a fire inspector and have training in rescue management. Do you have experience in operational and management work? You are passionate about developing and improving rescue services in terms of methods, techniques and tactics. In addition to your technical knowledge, you are a natural leader who is passionate about rescue services and wants to develop future solutions for dealing with accidents. You are creative, innovative and dare to challenge old ways of working to constantly improve the organization. Good communication skills are a must, as you will be a central figure in our projects and teams. You will also have the ability to work both independently and in a team and lead initiatives from start to finish. A driving license (class B) is a requirement, but your passion for making a difference is the real driver.
