The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The position includes teaching math, science and technology. You are a class teacher in grade 6. You will plan and implement teaching that both engages and challenges students, with the goal of promoting both their knowledge and personal development. As a first teacher in the municipality of Boden, you are expected to be a role model in your teaching based on the school's core values and with a focus on didactic development. You will continuously keep up to date in science and proven experience, drive collaboration and collegial learning, and strengthen teachers' ability to use each other as resources in teaching. Mentoring and supervision of colleagues is included, as well as being a good ambassador for the subject, the school and the municipality. Prior to each academic year, the school's first teacher, together with the school's management, agrees on an action plan for the academic year, which we follow up and analyze the results of together. QUALIFICATIONS You are a qualified teacher of mathematics, science and technology for grades 4-6. You have experience in teaching in primary schools and have proven experience in school development issues. You have a positive view of human nature and recognize the strengths of each individual, which permeates your contact with students, their guardians, teachers and other educators at the school. You have good communication skills and are clear and structured in your leadership role. You see solutions in situations that can be difficult to handle and have the ability to see situations from different perspectives. You have a good ability to lead your colleagues in quality work.
