The municipality of Boden is in an expansive phase. The rescue service needs to grow in line with the development of society and intends to expand our operational department. We are therefore looking for a force leader to strengthen our organization. We are a strong team that collaborates with 19 municipalities, from Kiruna in the north to Nordmaling in the south, to create safe and effective rescue operations regardless of where the accident occurs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Force Leader with us, you will be part of a team where we work together to achieve our goals. Our work climate is characterized by joy, commitment and stimulation. After introductory training, you work as a Force Leader in the emergency force, 80% operational and 20% resource time on a 5-week schedule where you serve 2 weekends out of 5. You will act as a supervisor for your team in the daily work and on call-outs. The tasks are, for example, the implementation of rescue operations, preparatory work and the like. Preventive activities are also part of the work, such as training and information to the public, but supervision according to LSO may also be relevant. The resource time is scheduled for daytime on weekdays and should provide more space to devote to project work, focus areas, training and other things where it is an advantage not to be on call. In addition, there will be opportunities for you to take an overall leadership role within our joint rescue management system in the future. QUALIFICATIONS We believe that you have completed the Protection against Accidents (SMO) training or, according to the previous training system, 15 weeks of full-time Firefighter. You have experience as a firefighter and have command training LK1 or equivalent older training, as well as a driving license category C. You have good computer skills and easy to express yourself in speech and writing, you also have good insight into the law on protection against accidents and other laws and regulations that govern and affect the work of the rescue service. You must also be physically fit. Experience of work management is an advantage, as is work with supervision according to LSO or training Supervision A and other relevant professional training or professional experience.
