Then you can read more here: www.boden.se/jobbaiboden The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. The main task of the Property Department is to provide cost-effective and operationally efficient premises for municipal activities on behalf of the Community Planning Board. The department is to provide the municipal operations with service in real estate matters and coordinate the municipality's premises planning. In addition, the department offers services in the form of cleaning and janitorial services to other municipal administrations. The operations unit is responsible for maintenance, supervision and care in and around the municipality's properties in the form of repairs, exterior care, etc. We are a small organization and thus have short decision-making paths where you get great confidence and personal responsibility. Our manager is retiring and we are now looking for a new multi-skilled employee with expertise in management and preferably experience from the construction side. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The manager owns the municipal properties and has daily contact with our tenants, (primarily the administrations) and is the Property Manager's right hand in matters relating to strategic premises supply. The manager is currently responsible for approximately 320,000m2 of owned and leased properties. The manager has budgetary responsibility and is responsible for carrying out maintenance, both planned and ongoing, as well as decided premises adaptations. The manager is involved in the formulation of project directives, strategic choices for future properties and the department's representative in various forums and acts as an expert in procurement and for the department's voice in dialog with the Project and Investment unit. The manager is part of the department's management team together with the property manager, operations manager, maintenance engineer and energy controller. QUALIFICATIONS We expect you to have an academic degree or several years' experience in the field as a construction manager, either as a client or as a site manager, experience in project planning or equivalent qualifying positions. We are looking for a communicative, experienced, creative, holistic and development-oriented person. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
