The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view.
The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments.
JOB DESCRIPTION.
As a result of a minor reorganization, we are looking for a new employee.
As an Operations Caretaker, you work to help the activities in the buildings, mainly schools and preschools but also in administrative buildings and offices, etc. Here you will be responsible for parts of the operational support. In addition to supporting the business, you will carry out repairs, snow removal and keep our buildings clean and tidy. You will work with the help of digital work orders and your own eye for the needs of the properties and the business. As an operations caretaker, you will be the face of the business and tenants and thus the closest representative of the real estate department.
Part of the service may be tasks as a caretaker where error reporting and supervision are administered in the same digital system.
Constant interaction with colleagues and customers is a natural part of both roles.
QUALIFICATIONS
Upper secondary education and computer skills are required.
A driving license with a B permit is required.
Several years' experience of equivalent tasks would be an advantage.
