The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view.
The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments.
The main task of the Property Department is to provide cost-effective and operationally efficient premises for municipal activities on behalf of the Community Planning Board. The department is to provide the municipal operations with service in real estate matters and coordinate the municipality's premises planning. In addition, the department offers services in the form of cleaning and janitorial services to other municipal administrations. The operations unit is responsible for maintenance, supervision and care in and around the municipality's properties in the form of repairs, exterior care, etc. We are a small organization and thus have short decision-making paths where you get great confidence and personal responsibility.
WORK TASKS
The property management is now looking for a new operations manager for fault reporting. As an operations manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the fault reporting process works well for customers and visitors. It is also the role of the operations manager to support the management organization with other administrative work linked to operations.
The role of operations manager includes, among other things, to:
- Responsible for receiving fault reports by phone, email and possibly visits, and possibly registration in IT support
- Responsible for the distribution of assignments to operating technicians, caretakers, operating support and, where appropriate, contractors and suppliers
- Follow up on fault rectification and assist in the preparation of documentation for planned maintenance
- Responsible for maintaining IT support and training employees in the system
- Prioritize troubleshooting and operational alarms
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with post-secondary education in real estate and operations or documented experience that is considered equivalent. Good experience of working with installations is a requirement as well as experience of working in the real estate and service sector.
The position involves communication with many external and internal contacts, so it is important that you have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing, and that you handle Office packages as a natural part of your work. Experience of working with real estate systems is an advantage.
