JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and who are interested in taking on the role of preschool coordinator. The principal decides on the need for preschool coordinators, based on the conditions of the business. If there is no need in the future, you need to be prepared to work fully as a preschool teacher in a group of children. The head teacher decides which tasks the coordinator will work on at the moment, based on the needs of the organization and the teachers. The coordinator's tasks may, for example, be to carry out training initiatives together with the preschool teachers, hold meetings together with teachers/kitchen, inspire and support teachers in various situations, have contact with guardians in various matters, plan and organize the municipality's summer preschool and work one week at the summer preschool each year, and support teachers and the head teacher in various administrative tasks. The administrative tasks may include coordinating leave, ordering substitutes, scheduling staff and placing children. The tasks can also be to guide employees in terms of working methods and approaches, to implement routines and working methods and to introduce and mentor newly hired employees. To be successful in this role, you will have an ability to build good relationships through your steady service-oriented approach. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and have experience of working in a group of children. You find it easy to build trusting relationships and you have the ability to help others develop and succeed in their professional role. You are familiar with the preschool curriculum. Advantageously, you have good knowledge of digital tools and various IT programs / systems. You are familiar with how to conduct systematic quality work.
