The western preschool area includes the village preschools on the south side of the river and the preschool in the Tångfor area in Boden municipality. In the spring of 2025, we are looking for preschool teachers or nannies for all three preschools - Bredåker, Hedforsens and Mumindalens preschool. Bredåker preschool is located next to the Lule River in Södra Bredåker, about 20 km northwest of Boden. The preschool's location with nature as our closest neighbor gives us fantastic conditions. Our local environment offers us exciting excursions in the woods and fields, with many opportunities for educational outdoor activities. The preschool has two sections, Skogen and Älven, for children aged 1-5 years. The departments are mixed age, which means that both departments work with children aged 1-5 years. The preschool has planned teaching in age-appropriate groups. Bus connections are limited so to work at Bredåker preschool you need both a driving license and access to a car. Hedforsens preschool is a newly opened preschool (November 2023) with 6 portals. Designed with common areas - 2 squares, restaurant and studio / carpentry room / water play. The preschool is bright and fresh with planned learning environments. The preschool is located in the Heden area with bus connection to the center. The preschool organizes itself in age-homogeneous groups as far as possible. Mumindalen preschool is located in Unbyn, beautifully situated on the south side of the Lule River, midway between Boden and Luleå. It is about 15 km to Boden and about 25 km to Luleå. The preschool's location with nature as our closest neighbor gives us fantastic conditions. Our immediate environment offers us exciting excursions in the woods and fields, with many opportunities for educational outdoor activities. The preschool has two departments Moomin and My for children aged 1-5 years. The departments are mixed age, which means that both departments work with children aged 1-5 years. Bus connections are limited, so to work at Mumindalen preschool you need both a driving license and access to a car. At all three preschools, our educational activities and documentation are anchored in the Education Act, in the preschool's curriculum, municipal guidelines and through our local business plan. Our work is based on the fact that children are competent and want to learn. We want to provide a fun and challenging environment to promote play, imagination and creativity. We want to create a safe atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, has fun together and develops. We want parental involvement to be an important part of the work at the preschool. Quality work is led by employees together with the principal and the area's preschool coordinator. Priority skills we focus on in teaching are language and communication, mathematics and social skills. We work with educational materials such as TRAS, MIO and the Bornholm model/Babblarna. Picture support and sign support are part of the daily activities. Boden municipality offers a wellness hour a week when the business allows it and wellness allowance to monthly paid employees. WORK TASKS For the preschools in the Västra preschool area, we are looking for you who are a preschool teacher or nursery nurse and want to work with children 1-5 years. You should be prepared to work the times the preschool is open, if necessary work a week at the municipality's Summer Preschool and skills development in the evening. You will work based on the preschool's Curriculum and work to achieve increased goal achievement in a committed and positive way. You will use digital tools in the systematic quality work, communication with guardians and other parts of the work at the preschool. Write in your application which of the preschools you wish to work at. Temporary employment period 250102-250630. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or nanny. We also welcome applications from those who are currently studying to become a preschool teacher or childcare worker or are planning to start studying to become a preschool teacher/childcare worker. You are cooperative, have good teamwork skills and are solution-oriented. You should be flexible and be prepared to take responsibility and initiative. It is important that you see the big picture in the business, and work together with colleagues towards set goals, routines and guidelines. You will see each child based on their individual needs. If you have experience of the tools TRAS, MIO, Low-effective treatment and work with children with special needs, it is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
