The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. Pupil health staff must also support the child and pupil's development towards the educational goals. Pupil health services include a school nurse, school doctor, school counselor, school psychologist and special education teacher. School health services cover pre-school through to upper secondary school. The medical services and school counselor are available from preschool to upper secondary school. Central student health staff are also part of the schools' student health teams (EHT). The school nurse and school counselor are locally based in the schools. Pupils, guardians and teachers can contact the school nurse and school counselor directly. The central pupil health service's special needs teacher and school psychologist are centrally located. As a school nurse at Central Student Health, you will work with health promotion and preventive student health work in the school unit and are then part of the school's student health team. Your work will consist of, among other things, health guidance conversations with students both individually and at group level as well as health screening, simpler medical tasks and vaccinations. You are also part of the school nurses' working group and are part of the promotional and preventive work that Central Student Health conducts. Cooperation with other activities such as the Region is also an important part. Collaboration with the region includes working at the youth clinic, where you, together with doctors and counselors, can make a difference for our young people. The youth clinic is aimed at all young people aged between 13 and 25. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist training in health care for children and young people, in open health care or in other equivalent specialist training. Nurses with a few years of experience are also welcome to apply. It would be an advantage if you have experience of working in student health, other activities relating to children and young people or other types of health promotion work. You are interested in development work, have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in teams. You have the ability to structure your work independently and to set the priorities required by the activities. You have a good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
