Together we focus on constantly improving our operations. Prästholmsskolan is a centrally located F-6 school and is located in the lower district of Boden. Integrated into the school is also the municipality's adapted primary school 1-6. The school has approximately 300 pupils. We have three after-school departments where the children have their education before and after the school day. We have parallel classes in each year group with a comparatively high staff density. The school is organized in several teams: F-3, 4-6, adapted primary school 1-6 and after-school care. Our common vision is to give our students security in everyday life. The pupils at the school have good basic knowledge and have developed good social skills. This forms a good platform for life. Our key words are knowledge, security, well-being and study peace. Because don't you want one of the most important jobs in the world? JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for you who want to work as a special educator / special teacher at Prästholmssskolan. As a special education teacher, you work to create the conditions for participation, accessibility and inclusion for students. You identify the need for interventions and work preventively to identify and remove obstacles in the students' learning environments. You collaborate with different professions to promote an accessible and inclusive learning environment. Your mission includes both pedagogical and student-oriented work. You guide, coach and support teachers both in the classroom and individually, but also work directly with students. By adapting teaching, you ensure that it meets the unique needs of each student. You investigate the need for special support through educational surveys and assessments, and are responsible for designing and following up action programs. By analyzing students' results and mapping the school environment, you identify obstacles and opportunities and propose interventions that support students' development. As part of the student health team, you contribute with your special educational skills and support the work of implementing the necessary adaptations. Documentation of meeting notes and observations are part of your role, ensuring that pupils receive the support they need to thrive and succeed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained special educator or special teacher. A teaching degree for years 1-6 and experience of working with these ages is an advantage. You show respect and consideration for everyone you meet in your professional role and you work based on a conviction of everyone's equal value. You have the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere when meeting pupils, colleagues, school management and guardians and you build strong and trusting relationships. Communication is one of your strong points, both orally and in writing. You are clear and adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation at hand, which is particularly important when supervising teachers, collaborating with colleagues and communicating with students and parents. You have the ability to work in an efficient and structured manner and you ensure that your tasks are completed on time and with high quality. You are methodical, thorough and ensure that the results of your work are followed up to achieve the desired impact. You value collaboration and enjoy working in a team where you strive together towards common goals. At the same time, you are able to work independently when needed. You will work closely with the school's management, teams and student health teams to drive the school's student health work forward.
