In addition to about 15 classes, the school also has an adapted primary school and two other special education groups as well as a newly started international school, International School of Boden. WORK TASKS We are looking for you who want to work as a special education teacher at Stureskolan. As a special education teacher, you work primarily with creating conditions for participation, accessibility and inclusion for our students. You identify which interventions should be implemented, and work preventively to identify and remove obstacles in the students' various learning environments. You collaborate with all school staff to keep them updated on developments and actions that may need to be taken. You will work in a team with the school's three other special needs teachers. In close collaboration with the school management, special educators, the team and the school's student health team, you drive the school's student health work forward. You have an open mind and are constantly looking for new approaches and solutions. Your duties also include documentation and administrative work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a special education degree. Previous experience of working as a special education teacher and teacher in secondary school is an advantage. We want you to be open to varied working methods, collaboration and school development. In addition, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make you easy to connect with people and you are therefore also good at communicating your knowledge to our students. You have good experience of working with computers as a tool in educational activities. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. OTHER Please enclose a teaching certificate or diploma.
