WORK TASKS
In the role of System Specialist, you will mainly work with system administration, register maintenance, support, monitoring, incident management, change management, documentation, instructions and procedures in the business support included in the IT department's management objects:
- Internal system support with platforms for e-services, integrations, application development, RPA, digital assistants, etc.
- Technical platform with components such as IT workplace, print environment, audio and video conferencing solutions, etc.
The system specialist is in contact with the business to identify any problems and issues linked to the business support included in the management objects. In this role, you also act as an advisor to the municipality's employees and handle, among other things, orders and call-offs of IT equipment from contract suppliers.
You will participate in various types of projects, procurements, feasibility studies and workshops. You will also participate in various collaboration forums with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work with continuous improvements, mainly linked to the management objects for which the IT department is responsible, and you will also participate in the unit's business planning in order to drive the unit's processes forward towards the business goals.
To help you, there are competent employees in your own unit and in the municipality's administrations, as well as a professional operating supplier who works with support, administration and operation of the municipality's IT infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS
The system specialist has at least an upper secondary education with a focus on technology and IT. You should have at least 3 years of experience in similar work.
You have a broad technical foundation and are used to working with large IT environments and the challenges it brings about its components, e.g. workplace operations, networks, security, server operations, cloud services, identity management, etc. You have good organizational skills and a structured approach. You can take responsibility for your own daily work and can work independently. You have the ability to translate your technical knowledge and engage in a dialog about business needs and IT support at the recipient's level. You are service-oriented, have good interpersonal skills and are keen to establish and maintain good relations.
Certification, knowledge and experience in:
- Microsoft Windows and M365
- Incident management
- ITIL
- Automation, Integration, API and Webservices
- Scripting languages ex. JavaScript, Powershell
In addition, good knowledge of Swedish and English is also required and should have a driving license class B.
