The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. DUTIES AND TASKS The tasks include: - Investigating and deciding in cases of transport service, national transport service and parking permits for the disabled. - Financial responsibility including invoice management and follow-up of the quality of the business. - Planning and follow-up of activities, including through collaboration with interest organizations. - Informing, supporting and assisting citizens in matters relating to transport services, national transport services and parking permits for the disabled. - Other tasks that occur at the Traffic Unit In your work as a transport service administrator, you have a lot of external contacts and work freely and independently. You work in a team of two people. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a university education in the areas of health care, social work or alternatively other university education that the employer considers equivalent. As the position involves the exercise of authority, it is a requirement that you have previously worked with investigative work within an authority. Experience of transport service processing and other types of work with people with disabilities is an advantage. The position requires a valid B driving license and good administrative and computer skills. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can express yourself well both orally and in writing.
