Your role:

At Boliden, the environment and safety are of the utmost importance, and as an environmental technician at Rönnskär, you have a central role in this work. Your tasks include conducting environmental measurements and taking samples to monitor and maintain a good environment, in accordance with laws and regulations. As an environmental technician, it is important that you have good planning skills and a thorough and structured approach. You should enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. The assignment also involves some physical work, such as climbing ladders and staying at high altitudes.


Your team:

You will be part of our dedicated team of five environmental technicians, where we work in an environment that promotes openness and collaboration. We value unpretentiousness and team spirit, and together we strive to achieve our common goals. Within our section there are also environmental, chemical and REACH coordinators, which gives us a broad competence and the opportunity to work effectively with various environmental issues.


Your tasks:

  • Conduct environmental measurements and sampling within Rönnskär's area of operations. The sampling includes flue gas, process and waste water, groundwater and soil samples.
  • Conduct sampling in surrounding recipients.
  • Assess, quality assure, compile and report measurement results.
  • Assist and conduct investigations.
  • Participate in projects and development work.


Your contribution:

  • University or college education in a relevant field (for example in chemistry
  • or environment), or equivalent professional experience
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Good IT skills
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have previous experience in environmental sampling, process or basic industry as well as project and change work. We also value if you have knowledge or experience in the field of environmental chemistry.
