Your role:

We are looking for a committed and strategic employee who wants to take responsibility for ensuring access to the land needed for our operations, as well as managing and developing Boliden Mines' property holdings, lands and forests. In this role, you will be responsible for property valuations, negotiations, purchases and sales of properties, contracts and other transactions regarding the land needed for mining operations. We are looking for someone who is driven to analyze, identify and implement continuous improvements. You are solution-oriented, work in a structured way and have an ability to build relationships and create trust. You combine a high level of drive with humility, unpretentiousness and the ability to listen to others. Your team:

You will be part of the Land Use and Community Relations department, a group of 6 people working on forest management, real estate issues, social sustainability, biodiversity and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) coordination, among other things. You will work closely with your colleagues in the department, but also with project managers in the respective mining areas, staff functions and company lawyers. You are located primarily in Boliden and alternatively in Garpenberg, travel occurs in the service. You report to the Head of the Land Use and Community Relations Department.

Your duties:

  • Manage, coordinate, evaluate and develop Boliden Mines' properties, land and forests.
  • Collaborate with landowners, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the mines' local work where you are the expert in real estate issues in projects and assignments.
  • Purchase and sale of real estate in connection with the expansion of operations.
  • Securing Boliden's land balance.
  • Manage planning, control and reporting of real estate related data.
  • Check compliance with real estate and forestry legislation and other requirements.
  • Benchmarking with internal and external networks to find best practices.
  • Correspondence with authorities regarding real estate, land and forest.
  • Coordinate common property, forest and land issues within Boliden Mines and develop strategies and procedures.


Your contribution:

  • Forestry university or college education with real estate law or brokerage skills, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in a similar type of role with real estate law issues.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • Driving license for passenger car.
  • Advantageous if you have experience of negotiations, real estate brokerage and development projects.
