Your role:

Do you want to develop, inspire and contribute to the green transition? Can you identify with our values of courage, care and responsibility? Then you can be our next Section Manager for the Preparation in the Aitik mine.

We are looking for a committed and experienced Section Manager who wants to lead and develop our mine production in one of the world's most efficient open pit mines. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment and driving our safety culture forward. You will strive to achieve high adherence to plan and efficiency in production. Your tasks

As a manager, you will lead the day-to-day management and development of the work in the Preparation and Production Service. We put safety first and you will be responsible for driving and developing that work, following set plans and steering towards our production goals.

Employees are our most important resources where you review the skills needs of your section and drive employee development forward. You will work with a competent team of operations managers and supervisors. The role is part of the mine's management team who together improve and standardize the work. You will monitor key performance indicators for safety, production and finance. We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

The entire section is just over 100 employees who work with either Preparation, which means drilling, loading, cuttings sampling and drilling service or Production Service, which means Road Maintenance.

You are flexible and able to handle unexpected situations, have good collaboration skills, are communicative and clear and have a strong desire to learn. We work digitally and look for you to have analytical skills and financial knowledge.

To be qualified for the role, you have:

  • Good management experience
  • Experience in leading improvement work in large organizations
  • Communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Driving license for a passenger car

It is meritorious with:

  • High school education in a relevant field, for example specializing in mining, or equivalent experience gained in another way from mining or construction activities.
  • Competence in LEAN, production systems and quality work.
