Your role:

In the role of Maintenance Engineer at Fuming/klinker, you will be a key person in ensuring and improving accessibility. You will be responsible for following up and taking the right actions to maintain a high standard of our facilities. The assignment involves both operational and strategic support in maintenance issues to the department and to projects at Rönnskär. To succeed in this role, it is important to be able to handle new and complex problems, which requires both creativity and analytical ability. Furthermore, it is important to have good social and communication skills.


Your team:

You will be part of the team working on the copper production plant. The group currently consists of 14 employees with various assignments as maintenance engineers, maintenance planners and plant technicians. In your role as a maintenance engineer, you will actively collaborate with colleagues in your area of responsibility, the central maintenance department, other support organizations as well as consultants and external suppliers.

Your tasks:

  • Ensure availability within plant/process sections.
  • Establish and revise maintenance plans as needed, and plan and follow up on these.
  • Establish maintenance budget and plan maintenance stops for plant/process sections.
  • Ensure that equipment meets regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Follow technical developments and be responsible for development issues and investigations that affect the department's activities.
  • Documenting adjustments and changes to the plant
  • Be responsible for investment plans.


Your contribution:

  • University degree in a relevant field e.g. mechanical engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in the field.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • B-driving license

Previous experience of project and development work in the process or manufacturing industry is an advantage. Knowledge and previous experience of LEAN and working with the Maximo maintenance system is also an advantage.
