Your role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Rönnskär, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and technically interesting business that is currently in a very expansive phase. In this role, you will work on setting requirements, developing and designing mechanical equipment - where precision, creativity and analytical ability are crucial. The work involves both independently running assignments and participating in investment projects where you work closely with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals.

Your team:

You will be part of the construction section, which is part of Rönnskär's project department. Our mission is to meet Rönnskär's needs in construction, both for ongoing maintenance and investment projects, as well as to handle the drawing management. The team you will be part of today consists of 14 employees working with construction in the disciplines of construction, mechanics, media and electricity. The group is a close-knit and knowledgeable team that always makes sure to help and support each other when needed.

Your tasks:

• Lead and implement construction assignments.
• Responsible for discipline/design coordination in investment projects.
• Establish technical specifications and standards within the discipline.
• Act as technical expert in the procurement of equipment and services
• Quality assurance of orders for external design resources
• Responsible for the delivery of documentation and receipt of completed documentation.
• Develop management processes, design software and working methods.

Your contribution:

• University degree in a relevant field e.g. mechanical engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in the field.
• Experience in roles of responsibility in project design.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish.
• B driving license.
