Your role:

We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy employee who likes to streamline and improve. With us, you will have the chance to test your own ideas and develop mining surveying work. We want to work with you who can work independently in a methodical and structured way and who want to be part of a helpful group where we work with continuous improvements, new working methods and new technology! The role is a temporary position for 11 months where you work daytime both underground and above ground with us in Kankbergsgruvan, shorter trips may occur in the service.

Your team:

You will be part of the Mine Planning department, a group of 16 people working in various roles with mine planning and diamond drilling.

Your tasks:

  • Surveying of locations and excavation rooms in the mine where some surveying is done with drones
  • Surveying, setting out and scanning of drill holes
  • Setting out of fixed points
  • Processing of measurement data

Your contribution:

  • High school education
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Driving license for passenger car

It is an advantage if you have a university or college education in metrology or similar. We would like you to have experience of some form of surveying or underground work. Knowledge of Deswik or other CAD programs is an advantage.
