Your team:

You will be part of Boliden Staff Mines, which has around 300 employees and includes departments such as HR & Sustainability, Finance, Technology, Business Development and Exploration. Within the Mining Engineering department, we support the production within Boliden Mines through problem solving and planning of new mining areas. The cooperation within the team is essential and crucial to achieve our common goals.


Your tasks:

  • Support open pit and underground mines in various projects within Mining Infrastructure, ex. Ventilation, backfill water containment etc.
  • Perform engineering work and contribute with your expertise in various projects.
  • Collaborate with mine planning and production staff, suppliers and colleagues in the engineering department.
  • Participate in assignments at our mines in Sweden, Finland and Ireland.


Your contribution:

  • Engineering degree in Mining Engineering, Mining School Engineer or similar field.
  • Experience of PumpSim and VentSim is meritorious.
  • Flow mechanics competence is meritorious
  • Verbal and written knowledge of English, knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
  • Good driving license (class B).
  • Ability to work independently and structured.
  • Communication skills and ability to lead training sessions both theoretically and practically.
  • Accuracy and willingness to progress towards more advanced tasks.
