Your role:

We are looking for people who are meticulous, like to analyze and take their own initiative. As a Mining Geologist with us in Kristinebergsgruvan, you get a varied job with freedom under responsibility as a large part of your days are independent work. Here you will have the opportunity to work with drill core mapping and monitoring of the geology underground. We also see that you want to work with others as the role involves collaboration with mappers, other geologists and departments in the mine. You are creative, want to understand the big picture and together with your colleagues we prioritize health, environment and safety.

Your team:

You will be part of the Geology Department, a group of 6 people working in various roles on mine geology and diamond drilling. In this role, you will work closely with our four surveyors who work in shifts.

Your tasks:

• Work with drill core mapping and follow up the geology underground
• Compile mapped material, monthly results and make analysis orders
• Diamond drill hole planning, ore interpretation and reporting

Your contribution:

• University or college education in geoscience or similar
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driving license for passenger car
• Good computer skills
• It is an advantage if you have experience in production, mining or geology
