Your role:

As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment for the Boliden Processing Plant and the Boliden Area projects. You will provide health and safety support to project contractors and Boliden employees, as well as organize safety rounds and be out in the field regularly to check and follow up on compliance with safety rules.

Your work:

You will report to the local Health & Safety Manager, your workplace will be at the Boliden Enrichment Plant and the work includes travel to the Boliden area mines. The position is a fixed-term position starting by agreement until 2026.

You will:

  • Provide health and safety support and arrange safety rounds
  • Check and follow up safety rules in the operation
  • Lead and support in risk analysis
  • Develop instructions for future operations
  • Support in accident investigations and IAsupport
  • Conduct safety training and inductions
  • Create training materials and assist with occupational hygiene measurements
  • Participate in compliance rounds and promote good health and safety conversations
  • Work closely with project managers on major projects

  • Relevant education from a vocational college as a work environment engineer or university education in technology, health and work environment development or equivalent
  • Experience of work environment work in industry and projects or similar activities is meritorious
  • Experience in holding training and introductions is meritorious
  • Knowledge of risk analysis and accident investigations
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license is a requirement
