Your role:

As an Operations Center Operator, your mission is to create and coordinate a sustainable and reliable weekly and shift plan for mining operations at the Renströms Mine. The work at the operations center contributes to the operations achieving set goals with high safety and productivity. You will create good interaction between work groups and play a central role in emergencies and shell protection monitoring.

The Operations Center Operators work shifts every two weeks from Tuesdays to Mondays, every other morning and afternoon.

Your team:

There are currently four people in the team and you are responsible for the shift you work. You have many interfaces with other teams in the organization and communication within your team to facilitate handover.

Your tasks:

  • Plan and prepare activity plans for the mining operation so we follow our short and long term plans
  • Follow up on ongoing activities, prioritize activities and adjust plan after unforeseen events
  • Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources.
  • Prepare production reports.
  • Perform moderately complex and varied tasks.

  • Communication skills, curiosity and ability to ask counter questions.
  • Stress resistance, especially related to emergencies.
  • Strategic planning skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in technical processes or procedures
