Your role:

As a Production Engineer, you will be part of the Dams and Water Management department, an important part of our work with dam safety issues, operation of the Ryllshytte reservoir, as well as water management and water treatment. You will play a central role in our daily operations and be part of a team working on technical and process-related issues.

The dams are continuously being built and developed, which gives you the opportunity to be involved in development projects as a technician. You and your team work together to support operations and take responsibility for developing and improving the facilities. Your passion for continuous improvement and your technical know-how will be key to driving and implementing effective solutions.


Duties: As a Production Technician, you will be part of our team and responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our water treatment plants and ponds. Your main duties include:

  • Maintenance and Operations: Responsible for daily support to operations and maintenance and participate in optimization of the water treatment plants and Instrumentation.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and fix technical problems and downtime in the plants.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor and analyze processes and instruments and ensure that the water treatment plants and ponds meet all environmental and quality requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and train staff as required.
  • Safety and Environment: Work to maintain and comply with safety and environmental regulations to ensure a sustainable and safe working environment.
  • Reporting: Document workflows, results and incidents and follow up on relevant KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical education, e.g. engineer, production technician or similar.
  • Experience of working with water treatment and/or dams is meritorious.
  • Practical experience of maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of technical systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Swedish and English in writing and speech
  • Document management such as Excel, Word and Boliden's internal systems
  • Driving license B is a requirement.

  • Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate.
  • Interest in technology and processes in water treatment and dams.
