The concentrator belongs to the Boliden area together with three mines and plays a central role in extracting and producing metals. The ore from the mines comes to us to be refined into concentrates that can be sold to our customers, the smelters. Here, the ore undergoes a number of different processing steps, including grinding, flotation and leaching of precious metals. An important part of our operations is also the maintenance of our sand storage facility and the treatment of process water before it is released into the environment. We have a number of exciting major projects and investments to work on. In 2026, we will commission a brand new sand dewatering facility to extend the life of the site and reduce its environmental footprint.
