Your role:

As a vehicle driver at Rönnskär's logistics department, you will, together with your colleagues, have a central role in ensuring smooth and efficient internal transports. It is an exciting and varied assignment that includes driving several different machines, such as a quay crane, excavator, slag truck, loader and tractor. In the role of vehicle driver, it is important that you have the ability to work both independently and with others. You will see what needs to be done and take the initiative to get the job done, where accuracy and responsibility under stressful conditions will be essential for the safe and efficient completion of tasks.

For this role, we are looking for three vehicle drivers with a focus on quay crane and excavator. The working hours are arranged in different shift forms (K1 and K2). Please note that shift patterns may change over time.

Your team:

You are part of the logistics department, which is a dedicated team of about 60 employees who together are responsible for loading and unloading ships, internal rail transport and handling of melt materials. Your closest colleagues in the port currently consist of three quay crane drivers, and with three new colleagues, the team will consist of a total of six vehicle drivers.

Your tasks:

• Operate quay crane and ship loader
• Drive wheel loader and load boats
• Drive various vehicles in the area e.g. slag truck, loader, excavator and tractor.
• Rounding and maintenance of port facilities (snow removal, keeping up crane tracks, etc.)
• Active participation in the department's improvement and development work

Your contribution:

• High school education with relevant focus
• Communication skills in Swedish and English
• B-driving license
• Driving license for wheel loader

It is meritorious with previous experience as a quay crane driver.
