Your role:

As a road worker at Renströmsgruvan, you will work with a team of experienced colleagues to maintain and build roads in the mine. It is an exciting and varied assignment that includes driving several different machines, such as backhoe loader, crawler excavator, tractor, grader and truck. In the role of road worker, it is important that you are adaptable and have the ability to work both independently and with others. You can see what needs to be done and take initiative to complete tasks effectively.

Your team:

You will be part of a team of 14 employees working in the Rock Transportation section, including three employees working on road maintenance. The team works closely together to ensure that the roads in the mine are in top condition. There is also close cooperation with other sections and departments to ensure that work at the mine runs as smoothly as possible.

Your tasks:

• Building new roads and ensuring they have the right gradients and road materials.
• Preventive road maintenance, such as planing, scraping and digging
• ditching and other water drainage works, including piping
• Carrying out various specialized jobs on a project basis where needed.

Your contribution:

• High school education
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
• B driving license

Previous experience in road maintenance and underground experience is an advantage.
