Your role:

As Section Manager for the Rönnskär refinery, you have overall responsibility for the section, which includes the precious metals plant and the electrolysis plant. You will ensure that operations run smoothly and deliver high quality results in line with set targets and established processes. The assignment includes personnel and budget responsibilities, planning, coordination and follow-up of existing activities. The assignment also includes building and shaping a new organization for the electrolysis plant currently under construction. This will include recruiting staff, designing working methods and processes, and creating a culture of courageous, responsible and caring employees.

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and have the ability to create order. You are determined and driven, and motivated by finding solutions to problems. As a leader of a large organization, you are a good communicator with strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills. Your ability to lead and inspire others through your communication skills is one of your strongest attributes. We would like to see that you have experience in change management and that you are passionate about leading development work.

Your team:

The section currently consists of approx. 30 employees who together work with production in the precious metal plant. As the electrolysis plant is built up, the number of employees will increase and so will the number of direct reports. Today, the direct reporting team consists of five employees; unit manager, engineers and technicians. You will report to the Production Manager.


Your duties:

  • Personnel and work environment responsibility for the section.
  • Responsible for cost and production budgets and ensure that results follow set plans.
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with legislation and regulations as well as permits and official decisions.
  • Responsible for and follow up and investigate the operation and maintenance work.
  • Work with continuous improvements with action plans and follow-up linked to work environment and safety.
  • Drive development and change work within the section.


Your contribution:

  • University or college education in relevant field such as technical chemistry or equivalent competence or experience.
  • Experience in a senior position with personnel responsibility
  • Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license

Previous experience in the process or basic industry is an advantage. Knowledge and previous experience of development and change work is also meritorious.
