Your role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Rönnskär, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and technical organization, where you will be involved in shaping the business going forward. In this role, you will work on setting requirements, developing and designing mechanical equipment - where precision, creativity and analytical ability are crucial. The work involves both independently driving assignments and participating in projects where you work closely with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals. To succeed in this role, you need to be a committed and experienced designer who enjoys problem solving at an advanced level. We also look for you to be a team player who communicates effectively and builds good relationships and collaborations. You are motivated by taking great responsibility, driving results and promoting development through continuous improvement and innovative solutions.


Your team:

You will be part of the construction section, which is part of Rönnskär's project department. Our mission is to meet Rönnskär's needs in construction, both for ongoing maintenance and investment projects, as well as to handle the drawing management. The team you will be part of today consists of 14 employees working with construction in the disciplines of construction, mechanics, media and electricity. The group is a close-knit and knowledgeable team that always makes sure to help and support each other.


Your tasks:

As a senior mechanical designer, you will work both independently with design assignments and as a discipline / design manager in investment projects. You will establish technical specifications and standards within your discipline and act as a technical expert in the procurement of equipment and services. Furthermore, you will quality assure orders for external design resources and be responsible for both the delivery and receipt of documentation. In addition, the development of management, design software and working methods is also part of your duties.


Your contribution:

  • Education from university or college in a relevant field, for example in building technology/construction technology.
  • Several years of professional experience in the field.
  • Experience of responsibility roles in project design.
  • Experience of design work in the process industry.
  • Command English and Swedish in speech and writing.
  • B driving license.

It is advantageous if you have experience of strength calculations and process media as well as knowledge and experience of the CAD programs SolidWorks and Microstation.
