Your Team: 

You will be part of Bolidens Mining Staff, which has about 300 employees and includes departments such as HR & Sustainability, Finance, Technology, Business Development, and Exploration. Within the mining technology department, we support production within Boliden Mines through problem-solving and planning of new mining areas. Collaboration within the team is essential and crucial to achieving our common goals.


Your Tasks:

  • Support open-pit and underground mines in various projects within Mining Infrastructure, e.g., ventilation, backfilling, water management, etc.
  • Perform engineering work and contribute your expertise to various projects.
  • Collaborate with mine planning and production personnel, suppliers, and colleagues in the technology department.
  • Participate in assignments at our mines in Sweden, Finland, and Ireland.


Your Contribution:

  • At least 5 years of experience in mining infrastructure-related tasks.
  • Engineering degree in Mining Technology, Mining Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Good knowledge of backfilling with Paste and other cement-stabilized backfilling methods.
  • Experience with PumpSim and VentSim is meritorious.
  • Competence in fluid mechanics is meritorious.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English, knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license (class B).
  • Ability to work independently and structured.
  • Communication skills and ability to lead training sessions both theoretically and practically.
  • Accuracy and willingness to develop towards more advanced tasks.
