Your opportunity

As a substitute Mine Geologist within Geology and Mine planning department at Boliden Garpenberg, you will be joining a company and work group where continuous improvements, health, environment and safety are prioritized.

This is a one-year parental leave substitute position, full-time in Garpenberg and you will report to Chief Geologist within the Geology and Mine planning department. Working hours are regular office hours. Travels may occur in the role.

• Drill core logging and sampling

What you bring

To thrive in this temporary role you will need good communication skills, a great ability to cooperate and collaborate, high attention to quality and detail, flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least bachelor’s degree in Geology/geoscience
• Experience of working in mining and-/or exploration industry.
• Experience of drill core logging, interpretation and modeling.
• Category B driving license

It is meritorious if you have:

• 1 to 2 years of experience working in mining and-/or exploration industry.
• Experience in Leapfrog, Deswik, WellCAD and AcQuire.
