Rönnskärsverken in Skelleftehamn is one of the world's most efficient smelters, extracting metals from raw materials from mines and various types of recycled materials. We mainly produce copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc clinker. Rönnskär currently has about 870 employees and during the period from the beginning of May to the end of August, we annually employ about 250 vacation temps in several areas. We are looking for you who are interested in working at one of the world's most efficient smelters.

Your contribution

We are looking for you who are responsible, thorough and committed to your work. You are solution-oriented and easy to work with. It is an advantage if you have attended or are attending training in the area of work you are applying for and if you have a license for forklift, traverse and/or wheel loader. Experience in similar tasks is also something we value. In all work, great emphasis is placed on safety and security work. Salary is based on collective agreements. You also need to be able to work throughout the holiday period.

The requirements for all positions are:

  • High school education
  • Have reached the age of 18 at the start of employment
  • B driving license

Process operators

The work tasks involve planning, controlling and monitoring processes and equipment. In several departments, tasks include driving forklifts and/or overhead cranes. Shift work is the most common working time.

Maintenance/Service

The tasks involve inspecting, maintaining, repairing and installing various machines that production needs. Daytime is the most common working hours.

We are looking for these positions, among others:

Mechanic

Electrician

Building worker

Mason

Warehouse worker

Transport

Transport is responsible for all internal transports, which means loading and unloading of ships, internal rail transports, handling of melt materials and other material transports with several different vehicles. Both daytime and shift work is involved. To be relevant for summer jobs in transport, you need a license for wheel loaders.

Laboratory

As a laboratory technician, you perform chemical analyses of raw materials, operating samples, end products, other quality controls and development and exploration samples. Both daytime and shift work occur.

Environment

As an environmental technician, you carry out environmental measurements throughout the Rönnskär industrial area and compile and report results. The tasks include elements that involve staying at high altitude. Working hours are daytime.

Administration

The tasks include administration of freight, deviation management and deliveries, but also more general administrative tasks that are mostly handled via computer. Working hours are daytime, but other working hours may also occur.
