Your role:

Our business is growing and we are now looking for two shift Supervisors to join us! As a Shift Supervisor with us, you will play a key role in ensuring that our employees have the knowledge and resources needed to perform their work in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with us to engage, motivate and develop the organization, teams and employees, helping to create a safe and effective working environment that promotes responsibility and commitment. You will be a hands-on manager for your colleagues, working closely with other supervisors and other roles. You will be part of a business where we work with continuous improvements, have a production focus and prioritize health, environment and safety. As a Supervisor, you work shifts and accompany your shift team varied mornings, afternoons and nights.

Your team:

You will be based at the Boliden concentrating plant and will be part of the production department consisting of 45 process operators (5 shifts of 8 shift operators and 5 daytime operators), 6 supervisors of process operators, a planner, and three production technicians and you will report to the Production Manager of the concentrating plant. You will be responsible for a shift team consisting of 8 operators and will grow in 2026. You will be part of a dedicated team where collaboration and support are central to what we do. Your workplace:

The enrichment plant belongs to the Boliden area together with three mines and plays a central role in extracting and producing metals. The ore from the mines comes to us to be refined into concentrates that can be sold to our customers, the smelters. Here, the ore undergoes a number of different processing steps, including grinding, flotation and leaching of precious metals. An important part of our operations is also the maintenance of our sand reservoir and the treatment of process water before it is released into the environment. Read more about the Boliden area here

Your tasks:

  • Lead and allocate work for the operations staff
  • Ensure the right skills, permissions and staffing in your shift team and operations organization as a whole
  • Ensure safety and actively maintain high standards of work environment
  • Develop risk assessments and risk analyses and ensure compliance
  • Ensure that we achieve our production targets
  • Work in several different digital business systems
  • Coordination responsibilities during inconvenient working hours
  • Permission holder for Hot Works and Blast Base

Your contribution:

To be qualified for the role, you have:

  • High school diploma and either relevant experience in a similar type of role/business or university or college education in either technology or leadership
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Driving license for passenger car
