Your role:

As a supervisor at the underground scrap yard, you have a responsibility to plan resources and carry out area inspections in accordance with the plan, as well as prioritize and plan out any measures. Our organization is constantly evolving and this role is the start of our new residual mining organization, where we see that you get to be involved in developing the role. You will work closely with both management and employees to ensure that our processes are safe and efficient as possible. As a supervisor, you have a coaching leadership style and are motivated by seeing others grow and develop where you have the ability to create positive energy and joy in your surroundings. You have a structured approach and enjoy working in environments where you are involved in the process of change and the creation of structure and order, promoting participation and cooperation in the group. The leadership role includes the responsibilities in personnel planning, labor law, rehabilitation, performance reviews, salary reviews as well as competence development, budget etc.

Your ability to make quick decisions and lead the work will contribute to our success. Working hours are daytime underground.

Your team:

You will be part of the mine's production organization with a wide network throughout the organization. Your team currently consists of four employees and you will report directly to the Production Section Manager.

Your tasks:

• Conduct inspections and log remarks in the mine
• Lead and distribute the work in protective scrapping and re-strengthening
• Act as a contact person and make quick decisions when needed
• Coordinate students from schools and plan their schedule and skills development together with the skills developer
• Participate in weekly and monthly planning

Your contribution:

• High school education, preferably with a focus on mining
• Experience in mining
• Good computer skills
• Very good communication skills both in Swedish and English
• B-driving license

It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in mining and leadership experience.

You dare to stand your ground in situations where it is required. You are strategic but also operational and taking responsibility is a given to succeed in the role.
