Your role:

As a Supervisor for the operations center in the Renströms mine, you will have a key role in leading and developing the business to ensure that we follow our planning and achieve our set goals with high safety and productivity. The position is a temporary position that extends to the turn of the year 2025/2026. In the role of Supervisor, you are expected to have a close dialogue with your co-workers and other departments in the mine to optimize cooperation and address challenges. The assignment includes personnel planning, scheduling, work methods, quality assurance and team building. To succeed in this role, we look for you to be driven, committed and curious about leadership. Your main qualities are your communication skills and your ability to remain calm and confident even in stressful situations. You are also a problem solver who enjoys creating structure and working with improvements.

Your team:

The operations center is part of the mine planning section and the work group that you will lead today consists of 4 shift operators. The mission of the operations center is to be responsible for production management in the form of activity planning, coordination and monitoring of production. The operations center also has an important function in the mine's emergency preparedness.

Your tasks:

• Responsible for the daily operations of the operations center.
• Lead and distribute the work within the team.
• Plan and follow up the mine's production plan.
• Ensure that safety and work environment issues are given high priority.
• Drive development and improvement work.
• Manage personnel issues and skills development.
• Quality assurance of reported data.

Your contribution:

• High school diploma
• Mastery of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills
• B-driving license

It is an advantage if you have previous experience of leadership and have worked with time and resource planning. We would like to see that you also have professional experience in the process or manufacturing industry.

The Boliden area in the mineral-rich Skellefte field in Västerbotten is where the first gold discovery was made, laying the foundation for a community and our business that has employed several generations of employees. Today, the area consists of the Kankberg, Renström and Kristineberg underground mines. There is also a concentrator and a leaching plant for gold and tellurium production. The number of employees in the Boliden area is currently around 650. In Renström we are about 200 people.
