Your role:

Our one supervisor in Loading, Transportation and Logistics (LTL) underground is moving on to new challenges and we are now looking for his successor. As a Supervisor with us, you will be responsible for a team working with loading, bulk handling, crushing and feeding. Your team will handle loading of ore with remote and automation loaders and bulk handling with both loader in the mine and from the crusher operators' control room. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and efficient flow of this process. We look for our Supervisor to have a coaching leadership style who is motivated by seeing others grow and develop. You have a structured approach and enjoy working in environments where you are involved in the change process and the creation of structure and order and promote participation and cooperation in the group.

The position is a full-time permanent position underground in Garpenberg. Travel may occur in the service. Working hours are 7-7 (work 7 days, Mon-Sun, off 7 days) daytime underground.

Your team:

Loading, transportation and logistics are part of the underground production section and currently consist of two supervisors and approx. thirty employees divided into four shift teams. You report to the section manager for loading, transport and logistics.

Your duties:

  • Lead and distribute the work within LTL
  • Develop the process and work
  • Attend and be responsible for pulse meetings, project meetings, etc.
  • Responsibility for staff planning, rehabilitation, performance reviews, salary reviews and skills development.

Your contribution:

  • High school education
  • Good computer and system skills
  • Very good communication skills both in Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B-driving license

More advantageous is if you have post-secondary mining school education, work in the mining industry or industry and leadership experience.
