Your opportunity:

Do you want to be part of a dynamic and skilled team working with controlling and business intelligence? We are looking for an engaged and driven individual to lead and coordinate Boliden’s budgeting and forecasting tool. Who you will work with:

You will work with a small but highly competent team that values collaboration and innovation. Together with finance departments and other stakeholders, you will identify and understand their needs to create long-term solutions. We believe in working together to achieve our goals and supporting each other in our roles.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development, governance, support, and collaboration around the budgeting and forecasting tool.
  • Understand and identify requirements and needs from finance departments and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with consultants and internal IT to formulate and translate requirements and needs.
  • Coordinate and disseminate knowledge within the system.
  • Maintain and plan ongoing contact with users and stakeholders through meetings and workshops.
  • Manage permissions, roles, and ensure security.
  • Contribute to the data and analytics strategy and ensure cross-functional collaboration.

What you bring:

To succeed in this role, you should be an open, communicative, and pedagogical individual with the ability to proactively drive and coordinate initiatives forward in an attentive and supportive manner. You need a strong motivation for system and process improvements, problem-solving, and working with data. Additionally, you should be skilled in planning both your own and others’ time.

We are looking for someone with:

  • An academic education in IT and/or finance/accounting/economics or equivalent knowledge.
  • An innate drive towards data and improvements.
  • Experience in independently driving and leading development work.
  • Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Added merit would be:

  • Proficiency or experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge in other business intelligence or finance tools.
  • Project management skills or certifications.
