Are you the one?

Aitik, just south of Gällivare in Lapland, is Sweden's largest open-cast copper mine. Here, ore deposits of chalcopyrite containing copper, gold and silver are mined around the clock. The work in Aitik is done with some of the world's largest machines. In 2018 and 2019, a pilot project took place in which four of Aitik's trucks were adapted for electric operation via pantographs, not unlike how trains and trams work, on a 700-meter test track. The project was so successful that it has been decided to build another 2.3 kilometers of power line and equip ten more trucks with pantographs. We are developing smart, efficient ways to shape the sustainable mine of the future. We employ people who are prepared to move mountains for us to succeed. Sound interesting? Apply now!
