We are looking for two Tactical Buyers to join our team in Boliden..


Your role:

You will be responsible for coordinating and developing the purchase of products and services within the Boliden Group's operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Ireland. You are responsible for the tactical purchasing within Boliden, which includes making small and medium-sized procurements. You will also support the business in daily purchasing related issues and when needed you will also support Sourcing Managers and Category Managers in larger contracts. As a Tactical Buyer, you will actively contribute to the achievement of business objectives, focusing on both short and long-term activities within the purchasing function.

Your personal qualities are most important to us and we look forward to working with you who are committed and like a fast pace. You are good at building and developing relationships and have very good communication skills as daily contact with customers and suppliers is a big part of the role.

As a member of the Procurement Desk team, you are a self-motivated team player and you work well together. You enjoy developing ways of working and are constantly looking for new effective solutions.

The place of employment is Boliden. As the business is spread in several countries, the job involves some travel.

Your team:

You will be part of a team of 13 people. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute and develop new ways of working. You report to the Head of Section Procurement Desk Boliden Office.

Your contribution:

  • High school education.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • B-driving license.


Advantageous:

  • Training in purchasing.
  • Experience from purchasing/logistics.
  • Negotiation experience linked to purchasing.
