The position is a temporary position for 5 months where you work daytime underground with us in Garpenberg.

The role:

The role involves working closely with production with varying tasks in measurement, including measuring locations and mining rooms in the mine, as well as setting out, scanning and processing measurement data. You will be part of a team consisting of 4 mine surveyors. Working hours are 06-14, Monday-Friday.

Your contribution:

We are looking for a careful, driven and independent mine surveyor with good collaboration skills and the ability to make new contacts. You are proactive, take your own initiative and are flexible and open to change.

Requirements:

  • High school education
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • B-driving license.

Additional:

  • University or college education in metrology or similar.
  • Experience of similar work in metrology, preferably with experience of underground work.
  • Experience of Deswik or other CAD programs.
