Your role:

As a unit manager at the Rapid Analysis at Rönnskär, you will be part of the Valuation and Analysis section. The section's mission is to be responsible for sampling and analyzing raw materials, products, operational samples and environmental samples. These activities are an important part of Rönnskär's value chain and crucial to ensure the right compensation to raw material suppliers and to evaluate the quality of processes and products. In the role of Unit Manager at the Rapid Analysis, you will lead a group of 10 shift-working laboratory technicians working with the analysis of production samples. Responsibilities include staff planning, working methods, rehabilitation, appraisals and competence development.

Your duties:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and leading the team.
  • Planning and organizing human resources.
  • Conducting performance appraisals and supporting staff skills development.
  • Ensuring that safety and health issues are given high priority.
  • Active participation in improvement work and driving development issues.
  • Managing budget, personnel and work environment responsibilities.


Your contribution:

  • A minimum of 3 years of upper secondary education with a scientific/technical focus or equivalent
  • Leadership experience
  • Be fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • Good IT skills
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you have experience of laboratory operations and leadership training.
