Your role:

As a vehicle mechanic with us at the Boliden site, you will play a key role in ensuring that our vehicles and mining machines work optimally. You will work in Sweden's deepest mine, which means a unique and exciting work environment.

Your team:

You will be part of a committed and supportive team within the maintenance department in the Renströms mine. We value cooperation and good social contacts and we work together to create a safe and inclusive workplace.

Your tasks:

  • Perform service and maintenance on vehicles and mining machines with the exception of passenger cars.
  • Work both in the workshop 980 meters underground and out in the field in mining rooms.
  • Work in shifts 7-7, which means 7 days of work followed by 7 days off, with varying morning and afternoon shifts.

Your contribution:

  • Technical upper secondary education, preferably in automotive engineering or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge and a few years of experience in vehicle electronics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on solutions and accuracy.
  • Good computer skills and ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English.
  • B-driving license is a requirement.
  • Experience in service and maintenance of larger construction machines is meritorious.
