Your role:

We are now looking for miners for our mine in Garpenberg who want to be part of a larger context and work with mining ore and gray rock - what an opportunity for you! The mining is done both mechanically and manually and we work with a so-called salvo cycle from drilling to loading, blasting, scrapping, loading and rock reinforcement with concrete spraying and bolting. We are moving towards a technology-driven world and working with modernization and new technology in the mine, are you interested and want to be part of the exciting journey with us? The positions are permanent with access by agreement. Working hours are shifts 7-7 day/night underground. Probationary employment may apply.

Your duties:

As a miner in the unloading department, you may work with all our steps in the salvo cycle. This includes local and long hole drilling, local loading, machine scrapping, bolting/wire replacement and spraying/concrete driving.

Your contribution:

  • High school diploma, preferably specializing in rock/construction/plant.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
  • B-driving license
  • Good computer and system skills

Additional qualifications are:

  • C-driving license
  • Previous experience of current operations in the salvo cycle
  • Exploding license and experience in tunneling
