Are you our new electrical engineer?
We are looking for a driven engineer with many years of experience in electrical design. You will work in a varied position at a company with forward drive and great opportunities to be involved and influence and develop as a person. As a designer with us, you will work mainly with projects in Sweden but also be involved in export projects as we are an international company. You will therefore also have contact with our manufacturing units and suppliers outside Sweden.
As a person, you are driven and can deliver against a given deadline. As you will be working in design and project teams, you need to be a good communicator and enjoy working in teams. Furthermore, you are a person who likes to solve problems and dare to make decisions. You have a personal commitment and a good ability to effectively drive your projects forward. Achieving results and meeting deadlines with high quality is important to you. As a person, you are a curious team player with good technical understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design and documentation work as specified/described by project manager and customer requirement specification.
- Establish material specifications and make material preparations.
- Be updated on current standards and regulations concerning drawings, documentation, execution and dimensioning, as well as being updated on our manufacturers' and subcontractors' products.
- Assist production staff with your technical know-how.
- Participate in final testing of electrical equipment at our production units or at customer sites.
- In some cases be the project manager towards our partners and subcontractors, have technical responsibility in the projects and deliver according to budget.
- Ensure that schedule and delivery according to agreed specification is met.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree.
- Understanding of the big picture and working long-term.
- Many years of experience in electrical design, medium voltage and control equipment.
- Meritorious if you have previously:
o Experience in testing/commissioning.
o Participated in substation projects.
o Experience with plant calculations.
o Knowledge of EPLAN and AutoCad.

The service is a permanent full-time position. With location in Västerås and start according to agreement.
