Are you the one? Coop is in an exciting development phase and we are now looking for an assistant store manager for our Coop Jukkasjärvi store.
Customers in our stores should be met with good products at good prices, food inspiration, interesting events, surprises and get a personal treatment from all our staff. Real success is based on loving our jobs and showing genuine care and joy for our customers!
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the store together with the Store Manager and, above all, coach the sales staff in their daily work. Does this sound like an interesting challenge? If so, please indicate in your application why the role suits you.
Your duties as Assistant Store Manager also involve working with the Store Manager:
- Creating the best customer experience by actively and daily working with the customer meeting in dialog with colleagues
- Being a committed member of the store management team
- Takes responsibility for continuous development and improvement work in the store - using the business planning & store efficiency program
- Monitors sales and key performance indicators and works to involve all employees
- Sales planning and follow up together with department managers
- Contributes to a good cooperation in the group and works with feedback
The service also includes all the regular tasks for salespeople that occur in the store such as sales, picking goods, exposure and cashier work. We are open when our customers want to shop, so working hours can vary - day, evening and weekend.
The service is permanent for 30 hours per week. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the deadline.

- Experience and competence in food sales is an advantage
- Multilingual and experience/interest in different cultures is an asset
- Basic management training or management experience is an advantage

You get things done, enjoy working at a fast pace and can handle stressful environments.
