As a sales manager you are the face of the store and in a professional way you give our customers the best service while spreading joy and energy. You are responsible for sales and service in your area of responsibility, which is meat & charcuterie. The most central part of the role is to lead and coach the sales staff in their daily work so that all parts of the store give an attractive impression to the customer. You will also be part of the store's on-call team. Your work will include: - Leading sales efforts within the area of responsibility - Creating a sales inspiring environment in the store - Ensure daily operations - staffing, supply, price maintenance, etc. - Follow up on the development of sales, budget and margins - Initiate, lead and drive various initiatives to improve profitability and performance - Work actively with physical destruction and waste - Responsible for ongoing personnel work such as division of labor, skills development, introduction of new employees, compliance with procedures and regulations, etc. - Actively contribute to compliance with Coop's sustainability policy The position is full-time until further notice. We are open when our customers want to shop and this may mean working evenings and weekends. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Other characteristics of you should be social, responsive, good communication skills, persistent and able to make decisions.
